1. Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to SiteHunter. SiteHunter is a website traffic intelligence platform offering public traffic rankings, competitor monitoring, and traffic analysis, available at sitehunter.org (the "Service").

By creating an account, subscribing to a paid plan, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you: (a) are at least 18 years of age; (b) have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms"); (c) agree to our Privacy Policy; and (d) are authorized to accept these Terms on behalf of yourself or any organization you represent.

Important: if you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service. Continued use after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of the Service

2.1 What we provide

SiteHunter provides website traffic lookups, traffic rankings, competitor monitoring, and related data insights based on publicly available data. The Service is a digital software-as-a-service (SaaS) product delivered over the internet.

2.2 Nature of the Service

The Service is a digital, intangible product. Paid features are activated immediately after payment is confirmed. Due to the instant delivery nature of digital services, refunds are subject to specific limitations as set out in Section 7.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Account creation

Using the Service requires creating an account with accurate and complete information. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

3.2 Account security

• Contact us immediately if you discover any unauthorized use.
• Do not share your login credentials with any third party.
• Keep the email address used for billing valid at all times.

3.3 Business accounts

If you register on behalf of a company or organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

4. Subscription Plans

The Service offers a Free plan and a Pro subscription, with monthly and yearly billing cycles for Pro. Current plan details and pricing are available on the pricing page.

We reserve the right to modify plan features or introduce new plans at any time. Price changes follow the notice requirements in Section 5.1.

5. Billing and Payments

5.1 Automatic renewal authorization

By providing a payment method and subscribing to a paid plan, you expressly authorize SiteHunter to charge your payment method the applicable subscription fee on a recurring basis. This recurring authorization remains in effect until you cancel under Section 6.

Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel. For yearly subscriptions, we will send a notice before each renewal charge.

We may adjust pricing. If we do, we will notify you before the end of your current billing cycle, and you may cancel to avoid being charged at the new price.

5.2 Taxes

Unless otherwise stated, listed prices exclude applicable taxes (including VAT, GST, and sales tax). Where required by applicable law, taxes are collected at checkout.

6. Cancellation Policy

6.1 How to cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through either of the following:

• Online (recommended): Subscription management in your account settings → Cancel subscription
• Email: Send a cancellation request from your registered email to support@sitehunter.org

We will send a confirmation email once your cancellation is received.

6.2 Effect of cancellation

• Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are not refunded upon cancellation.
• You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods.
• Account data is retained for 90 days after cancellation, then deleted or anonymized in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Refund Policy

7.1 General policy

Due to the instant delivery nature of the digital Service, subscription fees are generally non-refundable, with the following exceptions.

7.2 Refundable situations

• 7-day new subscriber guarantee: first-time subscribers may request a full refund within 7 days of the first charge.
• Duplicate charges: billing errors resulting in duplicate charges are refunded in full.
• Verified service outages: outages attributable to us lasting more than 72 consecutive hours qualify for a pro-rated refund or service extension.
• Legal rights: where applicable law grants you withdrawal or refund rights (such as the 14-day cooling-off period in the EU and UK), those rights are preserved.

7.3 How to request a refund

Email support@sitehunter.org with your account email, transaction ID, and reason for the request. We will confirm within 2 business days and process eligible refunds to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.

7.4 Non-refundable items

• Fees for subscription periods already used (except under Section 7.2).
• Refund requests for yearly subscriptions submitted more than 30 days after the initial purchase.
• Accounts closed for violating these Terms or Section 10.

8. Billing Disputes

If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact support@sitehunter.org before initiating a dispute with your bank. We commit to responding within 2 business days and resolving confirmed billing errors within 5 business days.

9. Content and Intellectual Property

9.1 Your content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (including profile information, favorites, monitoring configurations, and feedback). You may use such content for any lawful purpose.

9.2 Limited license

To provide and improve the Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, and store content you submit, solely as needed to provide the Service to you.

9.3 Service data and results

Ranking data, traffic estimates, interfaces, features, and algorithms within the Service are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. Analysis results are provided for your reference, and you are responsible for how you use them. These Terms grant no right to use our trademarks, branding, or proprietary technology beyond what is necessary to use the Service.

10. Acceptable Use

10.1 Permitted uses

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes, including market research, competitor analysis, and business decision support.

10.2 Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal, defamatory, harassing, fraudulent, or infringing purpose.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or replicate the Service's algorithms, data, or systems.
• Systematically scrape or collect the Service's data or output for purposes beyond your authorized personal use.
• Bypass or interfere with the Service's security features, rate limits, or usage restrictions.
• Resell, share account credentials, or provide access to third parties without our prior written consent.
• Distribute malware or other harmful code.
• Infringe any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or card network rule.

11. Data, Privacy, and Security

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy. Payment card data is processed by our PCI-DSS compliant payment processor (Waffo Pancake) and is never stored on our servers. Account data is retained for 90 days after cancellation or account deletion, then deleted or anonymized.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

12.1 Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, uninterrupted operation, or error-free performance.

12.2 Data accuracy disclaimer

Traffic data and rankings in the Service are collected and estimated from publicly available sources and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Do not treat analysis results as legal, financial, investment, or other professional advice. Verify data or consult a qualified professional before making important decisions based on it.

12.3 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SiteHunter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, business interruption, or loss of profits. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Term and Termination

These Terms remain in effect while you use the Service. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, engage in suspected fraud, or where required by law. If we terminate the Service for reasons other than your breach, we will provide a pro-rated refund of prepaid, unused portions.

You may delete your account at any time through account settings, or contact us for assistance.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator is established. Before initiating formal legal proceedings, please contact support@sitehunter.org and attempt good-faith resolution. Unresolved disputes will be resolved through litigation or other legal channels under applicable law.

15. General Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-product notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full force. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding use of the Service.
